Parkdale 2.96 (1.41 Mb) is a tool for testing hard drive performance, using Parkdale can measure the speed of read / write hard disk, CD / DVD drives, USB-stick or network drive. The Parkdale has three modes of testing: QuicklAccess, FileAccess and BlockAccess. With their help, you can test the performance of the hard drive in various conditions.
You can choose to test multiple drives. Parkdale will test them one by one, and the result will be a log file. So you can compare the performance of a different drive.
- QuickAccess – available to receive the performance of the overall data rate. Here, the exchange takes place through the file system.
- FileAccess – measured by the speed of read and write a particular file. You can set the size of the block, enable or disable caching. Working with files as well as file system.
- BlockAccess – testing is done without using the file system, and access to information that comes directly from the device.
