With Pyro FX, Fire and Smoke simulations look more realistic and faster and easier to manage. Fast simulation speed allows more iterations. The ability to simulate GPU usage takes everything to an entirely new level and increased rendering volume creates an impressive final appearance.

Finite Element Breaker analyzes pressure on an object and then warps or destroys it. FEM can also be used for soft body effects with volume preservation. This solver takes simulations of digital destruction, and sticky slimy objects, to the next level.
- RBD BULLET
On Houdini FX, you can use the Bullet Rigid Body solver to create large complex data simulation simulations. This solver and the Houdini solver itself work with various forces, obstacles and collisions for full control.
Position-Based Dynamics is a multi-physics environment that is suitable for making wet and dry sand. PBD solver can run on CPU or on GPU using OpenCL. In addition to the sand effect, artists can make solid objects, sheets or tether to produce soft bodies, fabrics and simulations such as wires.
- WIRE & FUR
Perfect for simulating hair and feathers, the wire breaker in Houdini FX can also be used for other types of thinner shapes. Control cables with attributes such as thickness, length, stiffness and curl for additional control.
